It's been quite some time since I have shown interest in this blog but now that some have predicted the supposed death of blogging from the blow up of twitter,I think I'll start again. The Twitter phenom that has happened is very curious. The narcissistic behavior of the celebs that have pounced on the service is bizarre to say the least and with all the noise on there now,it makes the blogs more interesting again. I predict the death will be with twitter.
Bill Chinnock one of the the forgotten heroes of the "asbury park sound" took his life
Bill forged his own sound in Jersey clubs playing with future members of Springsteen’s E Street Band, including Vini Lopez, David Sancious, Garry Tallent and Danny Federici. Guitarist/keyboardist and singer/songwriter Chinnock was one of the brightest lights on the scene and was eventually discovered by legendary producer John Hammond, Sr., who dubbed him "the real essence of American music" and helped set him off on a long career that has included touring, recording albums and producing and directing films.
